The Gun Nut II fixes loose pads once and for all . It is used to quickly change the length of pull, change pads, and to add or remove spacers. It is perfect for youths allowing the gun to grow with them.
The gun nut has outside steel threads that are self tapping and cut threads into the wood rather than compressing wood which has no integrity. The flange at the back crushes the first thread to lock it into place. The inside threads are 8-32 tapped and there is a 5/32 socket broached in the back to turn the gun nut.
